Avio Aero is a GE Aerospace company that designs, manufactures and maintains components and propulsion systems for civil and military aviation. With more than 5,800 employees, Avio Aero has the ability to be present throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, from product design & development through the production and aftermarket services. Avio Aero is specialized in distinctive technologies, including additive manufacturing, for the production & services of mechanical transmissions, turbines, combustors, turboprop engines and propulsion systems for both fixed wing and rotorcraft applications.
The company’s headquarters and largest production facility are located in Rivalta di Torino (TO), as well as further plants in Borgaretto (TO), Brindisi (BR), Cameri (NO), Pomigliano d’Arco (NA), Sangone (TO), Prague (Czech Republic) and Bielsko-Biala (Poland).
Avio Aero's challenge is to develop new technologies and applications to reduce fuel consumption & CO2 emissions, produce lighter aircraft, and achieve better performance.
